In July 2011 31 Squadron deployed to Afghanistan in support of our ground troops. As a Squadron we would like to do more for them. In order to achieve this we will be running, cycling or rowing, a distance of 31000 miles, aiming to raise 31,000 pounds for Help for Heroes, tickets for troops and epilepsy action UK. This is a difficult but achievable goal and will be undertaken whilst we are serving our country on Operations. This will be my second deployment to Afghanistan and i'm determined not to let the 45 degree heat beat me or the Squadron. Our soldiers are all heroes but the wounded need our help and you have the opportunity to help us help them. Any donation no matter how small will help us raise the £31000 we are aiming for.
