It is the most fitting way to remember my friend Craig Gowans that I can think of. There are so many wonderful, positive things to say about Craig but I just want to share my most abiding memory which has stayed with me for many years. When we were at school together, my mum passed away after an illness and Craig said to me one day, not long after I came back to school, that he was proud of me for sticking in with my studies as exams were coming up and that he admired the strength I was showing. It's these words I often remember Craig by, so thanks mate, it meant a lot back then and it still means a lot now.
