<p>On April 9th this year, Lynne and I will be taking the first steps of a massive <span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black;">"Five-O" sponsored walk covering a huge </span>50 miles, which we are aiming to complete in just 24 hours!</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Why! I hear you say...</strong> well we each have our own reasons:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Lynne manages <span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black;">Jerry Green dog sanctuary at Algarkirk near Boston. </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black;">She looks after 60 kennels at the centre which is always full of dogs without a home. Jerry Green Dog Rescue is planning to mark its milestone by raising £50,000 to introduce extra facilities for the thousands of dogs that it cares for while finding them new and loving homes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black;"><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black;">But it's not just about the dogs for Lynne. This is also a personal challenge having already lost over 5 stone whilst preparing for the walk. In addition, Lynne will be celebrating her 50th birthday on the day we finish the walk!</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black;"><strong>For me</strong>, well I am here today because of a life saving operation at the age of 3 weeks old. Thanks to some incredible doctors and nurses, I continue to enjoy my life, and because of those people, I get the chance to help others when the chance arises. I'm there to challenge myself, but also to help a family member who is doing something extraordinary.</span></p>
