Story

Really need everyone's help to get to raise as much as we possibly can... We all take walking for granted.. Let's let amber take it for granted too... Like it, share it do whatever you have to do guys... Thank you

Guys I have committed to doing a 100 mile round trip to help a little girl fulfill her dream of walking. Please help me, help her. How many people must ignore posts like this on a daily basis... Please give what ever you can it all makes a massive difference... Thank you so much for any support given...

My story,

I am doing a 100 mile bike ride, along with others from starting and ending in Wolverhampton. For the people that know me, you will understand how tough this will be on me. But it can be nothing compared to what Amber goes through on a daily basis. How many of us take walking for granted. Let's help make a difference.

This is AMBERS STORY

Amber is 5 years old and when she was 18 months old was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy.

Parts of her brain are damaged effecting her legs so she cannot stand or walk and on most occasions very stiff and tight and are very painful, meaning she has to use a walking frame and a wheelchair to get around (and has a nickname of speedy)

She love's life and has always got a smile on her face but most of all she would love to be able to enjoy playing with her friends and 2 big brothers.  She also would love to do gymnastics with the ribbons but most of all, to be able to get around the house all by herself and go and do things all on her own.

Using Ambers words "I don't want my walking frame or wheelchair anymore I just want to walk like everyone else".

There is an operation she can have called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) that will take away all the tightness, stiffness and pain and will help her to take her very first steps. With this operation and lots and lots of physiotherapy and lots of exercise she will one day be able to walk on her own.

The operation is very expensive and will need lots of care afterwards. Whilst it will not take the cerebral palsy away, it will make her life better,  take away the pain and help her do all the things she can't do now.

Please help me raise money for AMBERS operation
