<p><span style="color: #000000;">On the back of an enjoyable Bristol Half Marathon (September 2011) and Last Year's Rome Marathon (March 2011) we have decided it is about time we put all this running to good use.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Therefore, we put are heads together and decided we should try our hand at raising money whilst running. Though obviously not a world's first we believe that by incorporating the two we will not only raise a lot of money for a great cause but gain an added boost on those cold lonely nights in 2012 when we take to the roads.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">So this page is where our idea becomes a reality as we make our London Marathon debut in 2012 and try to raise as much money as possible for Cheltenham based charity 'WellChild.'</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">Helps sick children and their families throughout the UK to manage the consequences of serious illness and complex health conditions through their programme of care, support and research.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Their three main strands of work involve:</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">WellChild’s work to improve the health of children has a huge impact through its commitment to funding innovative research, clinicians and scientists.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><em><strong>WellChild Nurses </strong></em></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Caring for seriously ill children is at the heart of the work they do, and the WellChild Children’s Nurse programme provides a service that was not previously available to families of children and young people with long term complex health needs.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><em><strong>Helping Hands </strong></em></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #000000;">With the generous help of volunteer teams from company’s situated local to the families, WellChild are able to make a dramatic and lasting impact to the daily lives of sick children around the UK.</span></p>
