I’m doing this in memory of 3 close friends (Sue, Izzy and Helen) who sadly lost their respective battles with cancer within the last two years.

They leave behind 3 husbands, 9 children and 2 grandchildren. That’s not each by the way! It’s not all Jeremy Kyle up in the Midlands!

The respective Charities are Cancer Research and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The triathlon will involve a 400 metre swim, 23 km cycle and a 5 km run.

My target time is 1:30 and I hope to raise £1,000.00.
