Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

I'm joining the Football to Amsterdam 2016 cycle ride - an organised ride with fellow football fans and part of a Spurs contingent, all in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. We will be cycling 234km in 48 hours from London's Olympic park to the Amsterdam ArenA, home of Ajax FC

In the UK about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives and it is the most common cancer in men. Donations help fund research.

I'm no Bradley Wiggins and haven't ridden anywhere close to this distance before, ever. It will be a challenge and all for a great cause so I really would appreciate any donation support you feel able to make towards my target and this great charity. Just to make it even harder and more challenging for myself, I'm doing it on a hybrid bike rather than a proper road bike.
