Matt's Green shifts moon light walk for Guide dogs

Green shifts moon light walk for Guide dogs · 9 September 2014
Visual impairment is a fact of life for thousands of people, and with an ageing population many more will be affected by sight loss in the future. Guide Dogs for the Blind campaign alongside visually-impaired people for rights that most sighted people take for granted. These include access to services and transport, freedom of mobility, and provision of better rehabilitation services.
Sponsored walk in the dark
Green Shift Staff from Mars Petcare, Melton Mowbray will walk 17 miles around Rutland Water in the Dark to highlight the challenges of Blind or partially sighted people and raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
We hope to complete the challenge on September 9thor 10th- Weather dependent.
Guide Dogs for the Blind provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. They have also been expertly breeding and training guide dogs for more than 75 years, providing many thousands to blind and partially-sighted people of all ages and from all walks of life.
