I am doing this to raise money for the St. Lukes hospice in Winsford on behalf of my grandad who died on Christmas eve 2007 after a long struggle with the lung disease Emphysema. </span></p>

<p><span style="color: black; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 11.5pt;">St Lukes is a hospice which cares for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their illness. They care for patients through their in-patient unit, out-patient clinics, and day care unit, as well as in their own homes through the Hospice at Home and Community Palliative Care Teams. </span></p>

<p><span style="color: black; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 11.5pt;">During his time here my grandad received the highest round the clock care and attention ensuring he was able to briefly forget about his illness and go back to being the man he once was.</span></p>
