Hi all I have now set up my just giving page for the epic lands end to john o groats journey. We are doing over 900 miles in 7 days ! Please show your support by sponsoring me and helping raise funds for st.Anne's cancer hospice

With both my grandparents on my fathers side passing away of cancer and recently Linda's Auntie passing away of cancer also, I wanted to do something that would make a difference too others who are suffering with cancer.

My motivtion for riding Land's End to John 'O' Groats is to raise money for St Annes Hospice, Newport. Kerry Bircher (who is leading the team) is riding in the memory of her Aunt Lynne Lloyd who died suddenly of a brain tumour at the end of 2011. I wanted to support Kerry and her chosen charity.

Along with 6 others, we are riding the two furthest distances in the British Isles, sarting at the most south westerly tip, Lands End, and will cycle well over 900 miles to the most northern tip in Scotland, John 'O' Groats.

We will be cycling for 7 days, averaging 130 miles a day, and about 10-12 hours a day in the saddle.

In memeory of my family relatives, I wanted to do something that would make a difference and on hearing about St Annes Hospice I wanted to ensure the money i raised would help a little along the way.

I am hoping to raise as much money as possible, and help with the significant funds needed to keep this cancer service, which alone will cost £1.3 million this year alone.

Will keep you all updated on how the training is going !!!

Thanks all

Swarbs
