Macmillan Game Heroes: 48 Hour Game Marathon

Macmillan Game Heroes 2018 · 31 December 2018 ·
I believe in a world without cancer. Do you?
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
There are over 2,500,000 people in the UK living with some form of cancer, with over 800 new cases diagnosed every single day. This is expected to rise to 3,000,000 by 2020, and 4,000,000 by 2030. These numbers are truly staggering.
I have decided that, by choice, I will endure two sleepless nights (and days) in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This money is for those who don’t have that choice. For those who spend their nights in pain and suffering with their own cancer, and for those who are supporting their friends, family, or loved ones who are spending every last ounce of energy fighting it.
To help me fight through my two sleepless nights (and days) I’ll be keeping myself occupied with video games. I plan to play non-stop (excluding loo and food breaks) for 48 hours as an homage to all those enduring the hardest times with cancer.
Please join me between Friday 14th December at 12:00 noon and Sunday 16th December at 12:00 noon.
I'll be doing my best to stream the entirety of the two days on my Twitch channel which you can find here: https://www.twitch.tv/nexuon. I may also stream from my Xbox One onto Mixer, which you can find here: https://mixer.com/Nexuon.
All I ask in return is for you to donate any spare change you have to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. No matter how small the donation, every penny matters, just like every life matters.
Have you been diagnosed? You are not alone. Macmillan Cancer Support are here to help you find your best way through from the moment of diagnosis, so you’re able to live life as fully as you can.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
Thank you.
Matt
