<p>Firstly thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Well it's been an eventful year so far, having been told not to run the marathon a week before, and undergoing a heart operation, my fellow runners getting injured or pregnant. It seems I am left to run the Great North Run alone, all thoughts of a decent time have gone, and now I am just trying to raise money for a great charity, so please help if you can.</p> <p>We have decided to support the Candle Lighters charity which is based in Yorkshire. It's a great charity that supports children and families who's lives are affected by cancer. As a parent myself I carn't begin to imagine what these people go through on a daily basis, so it's a great motivation for us to train whilst also helping make a child's life a little better.&nbsp;</p> <p>So please give what you can, it's a great cause.</p> <p>Thanks</p> <p>Matt</p>
