Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2010 I will be attempting to reach the summit of Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in the ).I will be doing this in support of a charity called FMA whose aim is to help and support people affected by Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition of widespread pain and profound fatigue. The pain tends to be felt as diffuse aching or burning, often described as head to toe. It may be worse at some times than at others. It may also change location, usually becoming more severe in parts of the body that are used the most. The fatigue ranges from feeling tired, to the exhaustion of a flu-like illness. It may come and go and people can suddenly feel drained of all energy. Raising awareness and the need for research are not only key to its future medical development and finding a way to treat the condition, but also to hopefully bring comfort and a greater understanding of Fibromyalgia to the sufferers and the people close to them.
Any donations you would like to make would be greatly appreciated.
