Hi all,

A few months ago, and admittedly in a slightly inebriated condition my male bravado surfaced amongst friends and somehow I roped myself into entering my first triathlon race. I have entered the Stratford 220 Triathlon which takes place on the 9th May 2010, so that's the easy bit done!! 

I am now in full training, which is proving a challenge in itself, trying to make the time to train 6 times a week as well as my body adjusting to the physical pain and learning to swim properly all over again is proving a stiff test, especially when I'm not exactly what you would call in peak physical fitness. However I am up for the challenge and thought it would be good to raise money at the same time for Cancer Research UK, which is undoubtedly a worthwhile cause I'm sure you'll agree. So please support me in supporting this charity.
