My training had equipped me well for the first half which I ran through in two hours, but the absence of miles in the tank and a painful leg undermined the rest of the race and I ended in about 4 hours 54 minutes.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">However, the main thing is that through your generosity, Get Connected have been the beneficiaries. I am incredibly grateful that you were able to sponsor me, and, believe me, in the tough miles of the marathon, I was very mindful of the sponsorship you had given to spur me on.. At this stage I am slightly above my target and this should enable 1,100&nbsp;young people to be helped by Get Connected.
