We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Most office grudges are never fully resolved. This will be different. This will be a time of reckoning. Two colleagues will sort out their differences like men, in a battle that will combine old-fashioned strength and resolve with ultra-modern methods. The challenge has been set: a race across the urban landscape of London on Barclays ‘Boris’ bikes. The date has been set: Monday 7th March. The only thing left is for a winner to be crowned.

It seemed fitting that such a special event should help aid a special organisation. Grosvenor Contracts is proud to have a good relationship with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) having recently undertaken a major curtain and blind installation at Rushton School and Children’s Home, Coventry; a facility purpose built by the RNIB for young people with complex needs and sight loss to learn and live. All proceeds generated by this event will go towards this very worthy cause.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
