Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So this year i have a double challenge, first up is my first London marathon after 5 years of trying to get in but this is just the warm up.

Four week later i will set off on the biggest challenge of my life, the worlds highest marathon at Mt Everest, although even with the marathon starting over 5300m above sea level  the running (and walking!) may be the easiest part as the trip.

Just to get to the start at Everest base camp is a 11 day trek with over 3000m of climbing!

I have chosen to support Yorkshire Cancer research as I am proud to be from Yorkshire and keen to support the great work  they do. I believe the work they do will continue to help countless people including my friends and family who have won or continue their battle with cancer and also in memory of those people we have lost.
