The Ear Trust helps in the diagnosis and management of profoundly deaf babies, children and adults mainly in the North of England. It also supplies information on cochlear implantation for families and professionals, supports regular local and national workshops and aids development of assessment and rehabilitation materials.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me and a mate are cycling the 128 mile Leeds Liverpool canal on the 23rd June. I have chosen to raise money for the Ear Trust.

Several years ago, a friend of mine, Robert Thompson's daughter contracted Meningitis, which left her profoundly deaf.

Through cochlear implants, Grace can now hear again and thanks to the Ear Trust, a small local charity, she and the family have received fantastic support through very difficult times.

Please give what you can so that other children, like Grace, can  enjoy a noisy childhood and I don't have to do anything so ridiculous ever again.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
