Tough Mudder Yorkshire 2018 · 28 July 2018 to 29 July 2018 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Looks like my midlife crisis is really kicking in... I've agreed, along with around 20 of my colleagues at CMS Distribution to take part in Yorkshires 2018 Tough Mudder. Which as most of you will know is very much out of my comfort zone. To put in to perspective how out of my comfort zone this really is, I used to blag that I had asthma on the school cross country so I could take the shorter route (I'm not built for running), and up until 2 months ago my idea of exercise was walking to the car.

I know everyone gets a lot of sponsorship requests, but I've not asked for sponsorship since my junior school sponsored walk, and I have where possible sponsored all of you, so you owe me ;).

In all seriousness we are trying to raise money for our chosen charity Parkinson's UK, and every little helps, so please give what you can. My personal target is only £250 but we are a large group, so if everyone in the team gets to their personal target, it's a decent sum of money to a very deserving cause.

Thanks in advance.

Matt.
