Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This April I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, the leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. As my nana has been suffering from dementia for some time I have unfortunately seen first-hand the effects that it can have.

The Alzheimer’s Society use their donations to support the  700,000+ people currently diagnosed in the UK with dementia, as well as providing funding to their research programme in pursuit of a cure.

The Crucial Donating Facts

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity...it's all good!
