<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I've decided to run and then run some more and then run a little further for 2 charities benefiting both the local community here in Brunei as well as communities internationally. I will be running the Brunei half marathon on April 8th and then I will be running the full marathon in Kuala Lumpar on June 24th for Seeing is Believing & Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah fund for Orphans (DANA). Please see below the good work that both charities do;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) is a charitable foundation in Brunei. Donations received by DANA are fully utilised to improve the well-being of orphans in order to enable them to obtain proper upbringing, guidance and education towards becoming successful and contributing citizens. As of end of December 2011, there are 2578 orphans registered with DANA. </span></p>
<p class="title-green" style="margin: auto 0in;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Seeing is Believing (SiB)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Seeing is Believing, is a global programme to tackle avoidable blindness. It aims to raise a further USD63 million by 2020, meaning, we will have raised a total of USD100 million since the programme was launched in 2003. There are 39 million blind people in the world and without effective intervention, the number of blind people worldwide is projected to increase to 76 million by 2020. 80% of blindness can be avoided through early treatment or surgery. </span></p>
