The north coast of Japan was hit by a horrible tsunami after an 8.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred 80 miles offshore. This fund will support organizations providing relief and aid to victims.

Having been introduced to Triathlon by Mazda 2 years ago when I was invited to join a dealer and staff team competing in the London Tri I have decided to take the plunge and go that little bit further and do a full Olympic Distance Tri. Having made the commitment to enter the Rutland Dambuster the devastating events in Japan that followed made me think what a good way to repay my Japanese colleagues it would be by raising money to help those in most need.
The Tsunami in Japan has had a profound impact on our business, car production has been halted, components are unavailable and even Fiat cars can't be painted in certain colours all due to the destruction caused by the Tsunami. However our disruption is minor compared to those who lost their whole towns, villages, family and friends.
Doing a 1.5K swim, 42K bike and 10k run may seem a weird way of having fun but your help by raising money may help me get through the pain and over the finish line.
