We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm doing a cycle ride of 521 miles around Wales, starting out on Monday 17th September, to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. I will be cycling in memory of my uncle Rob Large, who died in June 2007 at the age of 46, whilst being treated for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Rob had a great love of life - he travelled a great deal and had many interests, one of which was cycling and he raised money for charity when he cycled in Russia a number of years ago. This gave me the idea for my LARGE cycle around Wales.  I will be taking a route following the west coast of Wales all the way up to North Wales, around Anglesey, through Snowdonia and down to Kerry in mid Wales (Rob's home), before taking the road back over Plynlimon to Pembrokeshire. The challenge will take me 6 days, and I am now in training!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, if you can, please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks

Matthew
