Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Longest Day Down 2014 Challenge - An event created on the Performance Bikes Motorcycle Forum.

Me and my merry band of motorcycling misfits* will be riding motorcycles for 900 miles from John O Groats to lands end on the longest day of the year.

The thing is that we are doing it in only 24 hours, rain or shine (or even snow), on bikes costing no more than £300 and we are not even using any motorways!  Its gonna be a bumpy ride, but I can't think of a better cause and it means so much to me personally.

Everyone is affected by Cancer. We lost our son Oliver and the care and support he received made such a difference to his quality of life during treatment.

I want to raise much needed cash for Cancer research to help beat it for good.

*We are a motley crew of passionate motorcycle riders who will prop each other up along the way, share roadside repairs and bulk buy RedBull to raise cash for CRUK!
