Fundraising for Winchester Samaritans
Story
Hello. I have now just about survived a cycle route in the French Alps called the Marmotte. It was 174km and has around 5000m of elevation. I finished it after 14 and a bit hours on Monday 27th September
The web description : Starting in Bourg D'oisans it runs through Isere, Savoie and the Alps, climbing over mountain passes such as the Croix de Fer (2056),the Telegraphe(1570m), le Galibier(2642m) and finally the Lautaret at 2058m before heading home.
It was a pretty tough day but worth the effort!! Thank you to all those who have already donated
