Story
I'm running the London Marathon 2010! To many of you that may sound like a ridiculous idea. Probably no more ridiculous than it does to me!
I'm doing it to raise money for Sparks - www.sparks.org.uk. Sparks is a charity that funds medical research into many branches of paediatric medicine. Their goal is to ensure that all babies are born healthy and stay healthy. It's a very deserving cause. A good friend of mine works as a fundraiser for Sparks - this is all her fault! However, she is threatening to turn up as a Sparks cheerleader on the day so it may well be worth turning up on 25th April for that if nothing else.
Please give generously. It will be very much appreciated both by me and everyone at Sparks. JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. They'll send your money directly to Sparks and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on eligible donations if you are a UK taxpayer (I'm not aware of knowing any non-doms but you can never be sure).
Many thanks for your donation. And if you're watching the marathon please look out for me crawling by and give me a wave!
Matt
