<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span><span style="line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Every year, the Durham University Charities Committee (DUCK) sends 25 students to Tanzania to climb to the summit of <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Mt.</strong><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> Kilimanjaro</strong><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">,</strong> the world’s highest freestanding mountain. This challenging six day trek and climb will generate funds for '<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Save the Children', </strong>a charity working<strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> </strong>to ensure the wellbeing of children in more than 110 countries. </span></span></p>

After Kilimanjaro, we will be working with Save the Children for four weeks supporting underprivileged children in several community based projects. Each Team member is required to raise at least £3100 for the expedition, half of which goes straight to the Charity. Sponsoring me to climb the mountain helps raise the funds and is very much appreciated. </span></span></p>
