My Grandad passed away in August 2017 having suffered with Alzheimer's for as many years as I can remember. I watched him slowly fade away from the person I knew as a child to someone who no longer recognised any of his family and became easily confused.

I am doing this event to raise money in the hope that they will find a cure or at least improve the support available for those who suffer from it and their families who care for them.
