Turning sadness to happiness

David Hopper is raising money for Claire-Louise Ferris Memorial Trust Fund
In memory of Maureen Lilian Hopper
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
It raises money to buy multi-sensory equipment to give fun and relaxation to children and young people who aren't able to express themselves as fully as Claire-Louise could. Claire believed that music and movement helped her to overcome problems and so could help others to feel better about themselves too.

Story

Remembering Maureen Hopper: We would love to create a “living memorial” for Mum and so Jackie, Sue and David want you to help them to turn sadness into happiness. You can do this by making a donation to the Claire-Louise Ferris Memorial Trust Fund instead of sending flowers. This charity is really part of the family, find out more about it here: www.claire-louise.org.uk .

Our target will go a long way to providing bubbles and multi sensory lights for another hydro therapy pool or a multi-sensory room, helping to give fun and relaxation to children and young people who aren’t able to express themselves as fully as Mum’s grand daughter Claire-Louise could.

Mum passed away peacefully on Saturday 9th October 2010. The funeral will be at Corbets Tey Crematorium on Monday 25th October, 2:40pm. If you would like to come we would love to see you. We want it to be a celebration of Mum's life so wearing black is not necessary. You are also welcome to join us for refreshments afterwards nearby at Jackie's home in Hornchurch. Just let us know on the_hoppers@ntlworld.com .

Please leave a comment as it will encourage us at this time and thanks for visiting our JustGiving page where your donation will help us to turn sadness into happiness.
