On September 3^rd 2019 I will be taking on the biggest challenge of my life by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at 5,895m, and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world.  I am doing this in aid of MIND, the amazing Mental Health Charity.

1 in 4 people suffer from mental health problems, and suicide was the leading cause of death for males under the age of 35 in 2017.  MIND provides 'advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem… and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding’. 

Since October I have been raising money alongside my second year sports science degree through different means, including bag packs and street collections. In addition, I am completing a monthly challenge, for example an alcohol-free January, culminating in a final challenge of summiting the 10 highest peeks in Snowdon in a day.
