In September 2013 I am travelling to Romania to hike in the Carpathian Mountains and visit a Bear Sanctuary funded by the WSPA. I have been supporting the WSPA for the last 5 years and they are a charity I strongly believe in.

There are only eight species of bear all of which are endangered and in many countries treated horrificly. Whether it be farming bears for their bile or bear bating, where bears are tied down with their claws removed to be attacked by dogs bred for fighting. No animal deserves this sort of life and this is why I am raising money to support the WSPA's work to rescue and rehabilitate bears.

As part of my fundraising over the coming year I am partaking in 4 bike rides, all of which will be awesome but a challenge.
