Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money on behalf of Ripple Africa, a charity I am going to work for in for three weeks over the summer. is organising the trip as the founder of Ripple Africa is an ex-pupil, Jeff Furber, whose aim is to provide "a hand up, not a hand out" to communities in .
So far, I have done a sponsored work from 'Eros to Eros' (for some reason my school has a copy of the Eros statue in the grounds) and waited on tables at a charity Hell's Kitchen event held to raise money for Ripple Africa. I intend to do another sponsored walk and other money-raising activities between now and mid-July.
The charity is working in with education, healthcare and environmental projects and micro-loans. They are currently building a new secondary school at Kapanda near their base on the shores of , and helping re-forest the area where, to date, they have planted 3 million trees. I would like to raise as much money as possible to help them equip the school and assist with the reforestation program.
