Yorkshire Peaks · 29 April 2017

Coram, the UK’s first and longest-serving children’s charity, changes lives, laws and systems to create better chances for children, now and forever.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I last took part in a physical challenge in 2009 so thought it was definitely time to do another!  So on the 29th April 2017 nearly a whole 8 years later, I will be taking part in the Yorkshire three peaks challenge with a team from work.  My aim is to complete the peaks (24 miles) in 12 hours.

I am doing this for an amazing charity CORAM.

Coram provides help to vulnerable children and young people in overcoming trauma and poverty and to live healthy and happy lives. Coram has been helping children for 275 years, Today they help over a million children and young people every year.

Here's an example of how your donations can help:

£5 could help pay to run a specialist support group for adopted children.

£10 could help fund a survival pack for young people leaving care.

£15 could contribute towards the cost of a music therapy session, to help a child overcome their traumatic past.
