20 people, from teenagers to pensioners, are getting together to help Outpost, a small charity helping homeless young people in the LGBT community with accommodation and support.
Our challenge: each one of us will abseil 200ft down the Vermont Hotel in Newcastle on the 14th of October 2012.
Our fundraising target: £2,500.00 to furnish a whole flat, from flooring to tin opener, sofa to steam iron.
Some of us are scared of heights, some of us cannot wait to hang in the void! One thing we surely have in common: we are big fans of Joe McElderry, hence the name of the team :)
