Lovely people!
That time of year again. Hands in pockets and dig deep ;)…
11th October I don the running gear to prance (?!) around London in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in hope of raising £500 for People and Planet Trust (http://peopleandplanet.org/).
People and Planet are the UK's largest student organisation campaigning for international development, human rights and the environment. They have thousands of supporters based in universities and sixth form institutions all over the country campaigning for Trade Justice, access to HIV/AIDS medicines and to stop climate change.
I’m involved as a student and inspired by their ethos, passion to make a difference and ability to influence young people and those in power. They’re a small organisation with amazing potential to be a catalyst for change. I thoroughly support their work and would LOVE to raise all £500 .
