We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

This year MediaTek is taking part in Cambridgeshire’s famous charity relay race - Chariots of Fire. We have 3 teams entered made up of 18 MediaTek employees, all of whom will be running the 1.7 mile route around Cambridge. Chariots of Fire is one of Cambridgeshire’s largest annual charity events. The race follows in the footsteps of the famous film, taking its scenic route through the streets and colleges of Cambridge. The event is taking place on Sunday 20th September.

All donations made will be going directly to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH), the official recipient charity this year. EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Last year this event raised an amazing £70,000 for the Arthur rank Hospice Charity, so hopefully we can achieve similar numbers again for EACH.

Any donations made will be greatly appreciated by both the MediaTek runners and EACH.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
