My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
I'm sure most of you have donated through this channel in the past so we wont bore you with the details of security etc. Rest assured, it's a safe way to donate.
On July 19th, 4 guys from Mediacom (Liam Dawson, Jon Goldsmith, Jan Neumeister and George Bennett) will be cycling from London to Paris in 3 days. We will be doing 100 miles a day or more across some particularly rolling countryside which if you know us well, you'll understand will be some task to complete.
As an added incentive to this ride, we will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. 1 in 9 men in the UK will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and often the symptoms are not treated or diagnosed until it's too late. Prostate Cancer UK fights to help more men survive Prostate Cancer through support, information and research funding.
This charity is particularly close to our hearts as one of the guys Dad's passed away earlier this year due to this disease.
It would be fantastic to raise as much money for this cause as we can so please dig deep and spur us on to the Eiffel Tower. Also, if you get a second, check out our facebook page to keep updated with our progress on the bike http://www.facebook.com/MediacomTeamSky
