At YBTC, we walk beside anyone impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis through every step of their journey. Our local support brings comfort, care, and hope to families across Yorkshire- while our local research and investment in 'pump priming' brings us closer to kinder treatments and a cure.

<p>Pauline Meek made a beautiful cross stitch picture that sold for &pound;80 at auction, and Dave Kirby donated a signed Wayne Rooney shirt that sold for &pound;325 unreal and Thankyou both.Jeff Stevens raised &pound;300 in sponsorship and Julie Mcveigh raised &pound;141 hosting a Jamie Oliver party thank-you x</p> <p><strong>Norman</strong> from liver support group well done Ian,Phil and Samuel &pound;40 donation. Another &pound;15 from Lorainne and Mikes afternoon Tea.Ged Woodward raised &pound;725.00 for the bike ride, and signed up for next year. Dr Sean Lawlers Auntie Annie, would like to thank us all, and has given us &pound;5 to say so!Phil Meek bet somebody &pound;5 on site that they could not throw there rubbish in the skip 1st time from where they stood, it hit the edge, then the floor, good work Phil!Nearly &pound;900 raised by Lorraine and Michael at the afternoon tea, what a fantastic afternoon we had and good to see walkers,cyclists and families again! &pound;960 plus gift aid, from the fantastic Lori Foreman you are a cycling and fundraising legend, thankyou! There are a few IOU's to come in aswell!</p> <p>Thankyou to Dianne Williams and friends who raised &pound;310 at the Bristol Quiz night,Thankyou to all the helpers, and to people that donated raffle prizes. We all had a great night.</p> <p>In 2010 we have raised over &pound;50,000 for Andrea's Gift which is a Yorkshire based brain tumour charity, by walking the national 3 peaks,Yorkshire 3 peaks and various other challenges.</p> <p>&nbsp;In 2011 we are cycling from Thornbury(Bristol) to Bingley(Bradford) 200 miles in 24 hours.</p> <p>The main reason for taking on these challenges is that Ian Meek has had a brain tumour since 1994, was diagnosed in 2009 <span>with</span> an inoperable malignant tumour, and wants to raise awareness and funds while he is fit and able.</p> <p>&nbsp;This page is to sponsor our 50+ riders and funds from this page go to Andrea's Gift.</p> <p>&nbsp;Thankyou for your time, and hopefully your donation.</p>
