Great Wall of China Trek 17 - 25 September 2010

Thankyou for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have signed up for what will be an exciting challenge for me, to raise funds for St Clare Hospice by undertaking the Great Wall of China Trek. Some of you will know that both my parents died in hospices, so supporting St Clare is dear to my heart. What you may not know is that the Great Wall of China has always been on my 'To Do' list and now I have the opportunity to combine both.

St Clare Hospice provides care for thousands of people with life-limited illnesses and their families throughout West Essex and East Hertfordshire. But it costs in excess of £2.3 million per year to do this, so any donation will be greatfully received and much appreciated.

I would like to say a really big thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far, and your amazing generosity has enabled me to be the first person to reach the minimum target of £2,750. I would like to say a particular thank you to West Hatch Specialist School in Chigwell, who kindly donated proceeds from a fashion show to this cause, as well as let me collect on the day which raised several hundreds of pounds. I am so motivated now to continue to fundraise that I have increased my target amount to £5,000, so please dig deep and donate now. Many, many thanks, Meg x
