<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I am doing a skydive for The Cornwall Air Ambulance on the 25th April 2012.</p> <p>This charity is close to my heart as my&nbsp;little sister was saved by the air ambulance when she was&nbsp;6 days old,&nbsp;when she stopped breathing. She wouldn't be here without them, and has just turned 18!!</p> <p>The Cornwall Air Ambulance has been in operation since 1987 and so far has been tasked to nearly 23,000 missions and are one of the busiest single county helicopters in the UK, currently attending around 1,000 incidents each year.</p> <p>The helicopter is one of the busiest due to our population being widely scattered (and a long way from a hospital), clogged up roads during the summer, our love of 'extreme sports' and our beaches, moorlands and cliff tops being inaccessible by road.</p> <p>It costs almost 1.6 million to keep the helicopter flying with no sign of government funding and increasing fuel costs, they rely on donations, legacies, collection jars, the air ambulance lottery and fundraising events such as the Runway Runaround to keep them from being grounded</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
