As you know for my 50th birthday I asked everyone to sponsor me.  The plan had been to climb Kilimanjaro later this year and to raise money for the Kilimatinde Trust.  Sadly I have come to the realisation that although my dodgy knee might get me up the mountain it certainly wouldn't get me down so have had to postpone the idea indefinitely.

But I don't want the Kilimatinde Trust to lose out and am asking you to give anyway.

Kilimatinde is where my Grandparents spent most of their time in Africa, where my Mother was brought up and where they still need considerable help.  I have visited on several occasions and such basics as water are so desperately needed.

Any amount you can give would be a great present to me on reaching my 1/2 century and an even greater present to them.
