So I have decided to be brave and enter the Blenheim Triathalon in June. As most of you will know, following my hip fracture at the end of 2014 as a result of a running injury, and surgery last March to screw it back together, I have stayed well away from anything remotely active. This is a big challenge for me. Mentally and physically.

I am determined to raise money for this amazing cause that is close to my heart in a number of ways. So please, dig into your pockets and give me the boost I need to get out there!

I will be completing 750m open water swimming in a lake full of fish followed by a 20km cycle. Considering I was on crutches for 10 months of last year this has been an important focus for me and I can't wait to raise money for this important cause.
