Story
I seem to be one of these people who willingly wants to complete crazy challenges without any consideration of how on earth I'm actually going to finish. I signed up for the London to Paris bike ride almost as soon as I could - and am now realising just how far it is (about 300 miles if you were wondering). However, all the training I will most definitely be doing, and the saddle sores I most definitely hope not to get will all be worth it as I get to raise money for the great Breast Cancer Campaign - a charity that funds 'world-class research, by the brightest scientific minds, anywhere in the UK and Ireland'. It's thanks to research that survival rates have risen from 50 to 80% in the last 40 years, however with 12,000 women still dying each year from the disease there is still a long way to go. The more funds Breast Cancer Campaign receive, the more chance we have to tackle this disease. Which is why I would be so grateful for donations to this worthy cause! That way the scientists can do their wonderful work, and I can concentrate on not falling off and crashing into barbed wire fences.
Merci beaucoup
