I started running in 2011 after volunteering to run my first-ever charity race which was organised by the company I work for. I haven't put my running shoes away since and have even decided to step it up a bit :-)

When the going gets tough, around mile 20 or so, I will not be thinking of my bleeding toes, my aching knees, or my post-race G&T, I will be thinking of every single one of my generous donators, and all the people in need who will benefit from your donations. Macmillan does a fantastic job helping those affected by cancer. I chose this charity because of a story a friend told me once, and I hope that with your help, we can make a difference to people's lives.
