My story

I will be trekking to Kyanjin Gompa, to an altitude of 4000m, and back down again!  Kyanjin Gompa is in Nepal's Langtang National Park, and is the base camp of Langtang Lirung, which is the highest peak of the Langtang Himal, standing at 7,227 m.  My fitness levels and adaptation to altitude will be challenged, and I will not be able to have a shower for a week!!  

I am going to be raising money for Rianna's Fund, a charity of personal importance to my family.

Rianna's Fund was established in 2003 with the objective to help and support underprivileged children around the world reach their full potential. Rianna’s Fund has been able to develop and support many projects, including a home for orphans in Kenya, the building of a new school for over 640 children in Kampala, Uganda and more recently a number of projects in India, which include building a new children’s home in Mumbai.

Any donations you are able to make to support the work of Rianna's Fund would be most gratefully received.  

Importantly, every pound you donate to Rianna's Fund goes directly to the projects the charity is funding -  so you can rest assured that all your efforts go directly to helping change the lives of underprivileged children.  

I am climbing to 4000m, so I figure that a fundraising target of 1000 pounds would be fair and achieveable....!
