WELL!!!  Think we are officially MAD, having signed up for the Edinburgh Marathon on 23 May 2010 lol!!!!

As you'll all know, I (Melanie) lost my beloved wee Mammy to cancer on 22 September 2009, she was 53 years young.  She spent her last days in The Ayrshire Hospice and they did a fabulous job of looking after her.  The Dr's, Nurses and the Volunteers are special people and made my Mum comfortable and as happy as she could be during a very sad and upsetting time.  I stayed with her for a few days and they also made me welcome and looked after me too.

This is a big challenge for us (as you might imagine, eeeeek!!!!!!) but we hope that everyone will dig deep and support us - it's a fantastic cause and they need every single penny to ensure that they can continue to give fantastic support to people like my Mum and their families.
