SA Brain have teamed up with Tenovus as their nominated charity. Tenovus are an amazing charity who support cancer patients and their loved ones. We were lucky enough to be able to see first hand the work they do at our annual conference. I was particularly impressed by their 2 mobile treatment units which take treatment and emotional support to the community so patients don't have to travel at this very stressful and tiring time. Last year they saved cancer patients around 45,000 miles of travelling to and from hospital and brought treatment closer to home.
