Dear Friends –

I am celebrating my 7th birthday soon, and would like to help children suffering from cancer in Russia to celebrate their lives too.

In Russia, treatment for cancer and other potentially fatal diseases is only partly covered by the state. A large proportion of the cost must be shouldered by families who are often living below the poverty line because their child’s illness has depleted their resources. There are examples of parents selling their homes to fund their child’s treatment.
