Story

On July 3rd I’m walking a marathon along the Thames Path from Greenwich to Richmond in memory of my amazing colleague and friend, Renee. Renee had a rare eye cancer and sadly lost her battle last year. My Unilever colleagues and I are taking on this challenge to raise money for the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group with the aim of improving the treatments that they currently have to save more lives in the future. Rare cancers receive less funding which is why it makes it so important to pull together and raise money for them.

Thank you so much for anything you are able to donate, it really does mean a lot to me, my colleagues and Renee’s family. Renee had the brightest spirit and her positivity, strength and determination were truly inspiring.
