Our project - Ban Xo Pre-School and Primary School

The education system in Vietnam is resource challenged, often with insufficiently trained teachers, crowded conditions and with children that are generally at a lower standard than that of their age group
elsewhere.

The school and community have addressed their desperate need of improved kitchen facilities. The current kitchen is a bamboo structure with rotting walls and a unsafe and leaking roof. Cooking is done on a fire on the floor and the kitchen doubles as a storage room for fire wood. 

It is important for the students and the cooks health and safety that the kitchen gets renovated and new facilities get installed such as a sink and a gas stove.
